I Am PREPARED, Y'all

As soon as Mum gets back with the car, Betsy and I will load it up and set off to meet our bus, which we will ride ALL THE WAY to New York. Did you know that's almost 1000 miles? "Cause you know I'd walk a thousand miles if I could just see you... tonight." Sorry. Music keeps me sane. On to the pictures! Told you I'd post them today!

After we got our sashes all fixed up and ironed, I took a couple of photos of our badges. This one is for achieving my troop goal in cookie sales back in 2007.

Back when we were younger, my troop loved to go to Build-A-Bear. Actually, I think most of us would still get a kick out of it. Perhaps in NYC...

This is a music player that we keep on the mantle. It really looks a little frightening, now that I look at it, but the tune it plays is rather sweet.

This photo is NOT supposed to be artistic. It is NOT supposed to be pretty. It's just a record of something I did. Betsy and I decided to share two suitcases rather than trying to pack separately, so you can see those here. There's also her backpack, and both of our purses. In addition to this stuff, we also have a bag full of snacks and one of drinks. Girl Scouts are prepared, y'all.

Speaking of being prepared, here's how I know I'm a nerd. I was going through my purse last night trying to figure out what I needed and what I didn't, and I came across these graph paper note cards I've taken to carrying (we just started vectors in pre-cal, and they're handy). I looked at them for a moment, and then I tucked a few into my bag along with my scientific calculator. Because hey - you never know when you'll need to graph something.

I still don't know about the internet situation, so keep an eye out for me! I love you all!
